Trauma can remain “stuck” in the brain, influencing thoughts, behaviours, and relationships. EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing) is an evidence-based technique I use to help clients process and resolve trauma, allowing for more profound healing. EMDR is particularly effective for children, teens, and adults affected by Adverse childhood experiences or ACEs, supporting them in moving past limiting beliefs toward healthier, more adaptive self-perceptions.
My primary focus is on providing therapy for private clients—from young children to adults. I help clients understand and release limiting beliefs stemming from adverse experiences so they can form more adaptive beliefs and live fulfilling lives. Through EMDR and talk therapy, we address trauma, anxiety, and self-doubt, empowering clients to become resilient adults who thrive.
My personal passion is prevenative mental health. Early intervention can make all the difference. My consultancy services are designed for early childhood educators and centers, equipping them with trauma-informed, attachment-based approaches to foster resilience in young children. I offer training and psychoeducation for educators and families, aimed at creating environments where children can develop the skills they need to navigate life’s challenges. This work is driven by a belief in preventative mental health and the opportunity to help children and communities thrive.
Supporting families is essential to creating healthy relationships and nurturing resilience. I offer counselling that helps families and parents develop strong, supportive connections, creating a foundation for children’s emotional well-being. With a focus on attachment theory, I work with parents to build secure bonds with their children, fostering an environment of trust, security, and growth.
